Composed by Olivia Giacobetti, a perfumer renowned for delicate, impressionistic, extremely intelligent and quirkily refined compositions, “En Passant” is a beautiful confirmation of her talent and laser sharp intuition when it comes to combining seemingly oddball notes to create something that is simultaneously emotional, interesting, original and completely wearable.

“En Passant” captures a moment of simplicity and happiness, a memory the perfumer kept in her mental library of scents for a while before translating it into perfume: it’s about a leisurely stroll, one spring day, passing by abundant lilac bushes still dewy with raindrops, a bakery wafting out in the street the smell of flour, heels pounding rhythmically into the wet pavement and nose inhaling the heady yet fresh scents floating about in the air.

This perfume is all about those few perfect seconds and about being fully immersed in their transient, ephemeral beauty and possibly about this being the best lilac soliflore in the world.
